Daytulo vs Tiimo for ADHD-Friendly Planning
Last updated: 20 October 2026. Prices checked October 2026, US.
If you want a planner designed specifically for neurodivergent people, choose Tiimo. It was built with ADHD and autism in mind, and it has a countdown focus timer, an AI co-planner, a free version and apps beyond the iPhone. Daytulo is not an ADHD-specific app. It is a general iPhone day planner that fits your tasks around your calendar and deadlines and recalculates when the day changes. It may suit you if you would rather the app did the fitting, or you want to manage tasks from ChatGPT or Claude. Neither app is a medical treatment.
A note on honesty: this page compares planning features. It does not say either app treats, diagnoses or improves ADHD. If you have ADHD, what helps is personal, so try both while the trials last.

When Tiimo might be right
- You want a planner made with neurodivergent people in mind. Tiimo says it was built by and for neurodivergent people, and its App Store listing says it was co-designed with ADHD and autism experts. Daytulo can’t say that.
- You think visually. Colours, icons, a visual timeline, a countdown timer and widgets keep the day in view.
- You want to start for free. Tiimo has a free version. Daytulo does not.
- You use more than an iPhone. Tiimo lists iPad, Apple Watch, Android and a web planner.
- Brain dumps. Tiimo’s co-planner turns a messy list into clear steps with time estimates.
- Recognition. Tiimo won iPhone App of the Year at the 2025 App Store Awards, and it is an Editors’ Choice on the US App Store.
- Family use. Its listing mentions sharing up to five profiles.
When Daytulo is the stronger fit
- You want the app to work out where things go. Add tasks with a length and any deadline, and Daytulo places them around your calendar and available hours instead of you placing each one.
- Your day often changes. After a late start or a task that ran over, recalculate and see what still fits today. Work that can’t fit stays visible so you can decide what moves.
- Deadlines matter. Daytulo plans with your deadlines in view, so you can see what is at risk before it is late.
- You use ChatGPT or Claude. Ask your assistant to add tasks, read today’s plan or suggest a slot (changing tasks from ChatGPT needs a ChatGPT Business or Enterprise/Edu plan; see the ChatGPT guide). See also the ChatGPT guide and the Claude guide.
- You are on iPhone and want a general planner, not one designed specifically for neurodivergent people: Daytulo on the App Store.
